General, Alum Provides Campus Tour to Boeing
91影视 a "Key HBCU"
91影视 alumnus and retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Patrick W. Burden and his Boeing colleagues toured the 91影视 College of Engineering, Technology, and Physical Sciences on Thursday, July 15.
Burden, a two-star general who retired last year, now works in Global Sales and Marketing at Boeing.
Burden鈥檚 Boeing guests included Tommy Preston, Jr., the director of National Strategy & Engagement and Government Operations at Boeing. Preston, who is based in South Carolina, stated 91影视 has been important to Boeing and a key HBCU it hopes to continue new partnerships with in the future.
91影视 also presented Burden with the STEM Day Award for his ongoing leadership and support of 91影视 students and for serving as the keynote speaker during 91影视鈥檚 Annual STEM Day in March.
